Other side is done, and the small holes filled. Also made some more progress on the floor framing. I am now waiting on the gas filler so I can run the tube to the tank. Also waiting in some more Accuair goodies to show up so I can reinforce the floor in the appropriate areas. And finally waiting on the sheetmetal from Grant. Front end progress tomorrow!

No offense intended. I hope it didn't come off like that. I apologize if it sounded/read like that. Yours is way more in depth than mine. My motto, was simple and clean.

No offense taken, I just didn't notice your truck in the avatar.

Can't let a Blazer build slip by, specially one that'll have 1000+ hours in it.

Re: Tre5 Customs roadster blazer project

So am I understanding you right you use bushings in the center pivot point?

tre5 03-16-2011 12:35 AM

Re: Tre5 Customs roadster blazer project

I use a delrin bushing for the center pivot on the watts and urethane on the tubes. It needs to have some flex in it because the axle travels in an arc.

Re: Tre5 Customs roadster blazer project

LEDs in the combo skin. Hopefully they will be almost invisible because of the paint color.

Re: Tre5 Customs roadster blazer project

Ok, still working away. Installed a flush filler with a vent line, welded up the stock gas door. Gas tank is all welded up and finished. Did some plumbing... nothing on the fuel line is tight or secured yet, just getting the hoses to length. The hard lines are done for the brakes on the axle. Got the passenger side quarter panel all welded up. Figuring out if I want to put the Kinetiks in the location pictured. Ect, Ect....
