I don't want to piss off anybody, especially on this forum as all members seem like really decent people, but damn, that truck is effing nice!
Just put better, non letter tires on it, fix whatever problems it has and drive it.
Don't change it from it's original appearance/engine.
Just my $.02...
Ahhh, Do whatever, it's your truck. ;)

No Updates.....I actually did the dash 2 years ago....it's almost depressing knowing that in February it will be 3 years since I bought the truck and I've done nothing with it....I'm getting a full chassis built for it now so that will hopefully speed things up a bit but for now it's safe in storage with all the other parts I have collected.

On another note: I'm about to start my shop at the house so I can have all my tools, trucks and cars at one place for once. The FIRST thing that rolls out of that shop is a 71 green Blazer that the owner has been very patiently waiting on me.

I was kinda thinking that your move was part of the reason...

Going with PB chassis?
I'm still trying to decide what direction I'm going with my '64.

I saw on IG it was for sale a week or so ago. Not sure if it was just a 'feeler' or if it's actually being marketed somewhere.
Apparently 67-72's have a tighter grasp on his heart.

So are you going to start a new build thread or just keep updating this one?

Actually, I don’t think I’ll do a build thread at all. Sorry.

Anything I do will be underwhelming when compared to the rendering in this thread so I'll just avoid the plethora of "Well bless your heart" comments and keep quiet.

If that's how it would make you feel, you could just do your own thread.

You build nice, high quality stuff even when it's just doing detail efforts. I personally like to check & see the updates of your builds & would enjoy seeing your spin on this one as well since I've seen it in person.

These builds in the various Forums help people understand different ways of doing things; they provide ideas, inspiration, & a better understanding of efforts required for certain tasks. Either way, it's a super nice truck.
