The car looks amazing on the ground! You really nailed the look in my opinion.

Thanks guys!

Mike, are you making any headway on your Camaro yet?

I may be a bit biased but the Z/28 valve covers pull your motor together really well. I'm liking the stance too. Any pictures of it when it was Lemans Blue?

I'll have to scrounge around to find one. It was painted in the 90's, before I had a digital camera. It had a white vinyl top, and surprisingly it had no rust under it except for the lower backglass channel. I'll see what I can find.

Always nice to start with a solid body. I haven't come across one that the lower backglass channel has been entirely rust free except on my Z. Is that a factory style endura bumper?

That looks awesome! Any chance you're going to hit the Power Tour with it this year?

Very good chance I'll do the first couple of legs with it. Will be at the next Lone Star Good Guys in March too.

Darth is nearly ready to head back home after getting a lotta love from Kyle at Laid Back Recreations. This Camaro is like a family member to me, and Kyle treats it like it's his - no better place to take a project and know it's going to get done right.

Kyle sent me some pics today after he finished polishing. With the exception of the driver side fender, all this paint is 17 years old.

Very nice! Do I spy a 70-73 Camaro behind your 69 in the before pic?

Were you able to make the Power Tour?

I didn't make the Power Tour this, had too much going on, but I did take it to Good Guys in Ft Worth last March.

I really like the FiTech, but while it does ok self-learning there's are lot more to be had if you take some time to learn it. I'm a big fan of it so far.
