Officially sold. I have talked to Terry just about every day this week, I think we have everything in line. It looks like the truck will leave Chattanooga on Thursday.

I couldn't have asked for a better guy to work with. Terry I'm glad to see you get it brother. Take care of her. She's begging for an LS3, just so you know.

Re: Project Grande Slam: Coley's Hot Rod Shop

I drove this truck twice before I sold it. .. but I can honestly say It's one of the best handling, riding, and responsive trucks I have ever driven.. even the new trucks.

If it had an LSx swap it would be ridiculous. LSx AND paint ? .. Wow.

Listen fellas .. I'm out on this one ok? I have deposited the check, signed the title, and the transporter will be here in the morning (we're almost positive)

Out of respect for Terry, brother it's all yours. You guys keep him motivated ok? You've about spent all my money. :D

I'll still watch for pictures and stay subscribed. Just so you know, this guy is for real fellas. He's as honest as they come and a real asset to this forum. Terry, good luck with it. Let me know if you have any questions. I know this truck pretty well.

Later ! It has been fun.
Chad

Terry,

I was glad to help out with the transporter. Nice guy by the way. He really went to great pains to make sure the truck was tucked away nice and cozy with those A-Models, '32 Street Rod Pickup, '72 Z28 and Z06 Corvettes. Grand Slam will be the first one to unload from the truck. Chad and I hope you really enjoy the truck.

Thanks again,
POPS

Yes, it is "only" $3.16 right now in Chattanooga, Tennessee. I think we are right in the center of Fuel Distributors and Suppliers to the Southeast. It seems to be a little lower than just across the line in GA by about 10 cents.

If everything goes well with the transport it would be good to know what company was used. I have seen previous threads searching for good companies.

P.S. Good to see both sides in this deal happy with the outcome.

Terry has great things planned for this truck, I can't wait to see it finished up.

I'd say it will be in Texas tomorrow. It will be first off the hauler, that big clam shell opening up .. rockstar smoke machine going, 'Pride and Joy' in the backgrond :D

Chad, just around to the garage......didn't figure out until half way there that the E-brake was on!!! Taking her out as soon as I get home today!!

Re: Project Grande Slam: Coley's Hot Rod Shop

Remember, this truck hasn't been driven a lot since it was finished. Maybe 50 miles (if that) I'd suggest snugging the wheels back down, just a general once over on the suspension stuff, the lower shock bar, track bar, etc.. As you drive it you might have a little adjustment period.

Normal stuff.
