Ha, thanks…

I actually had planned to lower the truck originally, but decide to go the other way now that I've had it for a bit…
The truck is now lifted 4" in the front and will be getting a 2" lift in the rear shortly…

Not a Charger. That's a '68 or '69 Coronet.

Ha.. you are right... I couldn't make the exact car, so I just said 'Dodge R/T"

( Years ago I dropped a new- factory 426 Hemi & a 200 4R tranny into what looked stock '66 light blue, Coronet. But underneath it was all "NASCAR"..

It was a 750 hp beast!

... My '88 GMC 2500 is a little high in the rear, as normal and I considered lifting the front to even the 'look'. ( never got around to it though)

Sorry away for a few days…
It's a 69 Coronet 500 (R/T clone), it was originally a 318 car, but now has a 440 under the hood (even though the hood says 383)…
http://i855.photobucket.com/albums/a...ps7luxbtqq.jpg
http://i855.photobucket.com/albums/a...psrodwca0h.jpg
I just finished putting a new exhaust and new BFG's on it. It's a console car with an automatic, that is going to be swapped for a 4 speed (if not a 6 speed) in the future. There are no plans to run a Hemi, I'm keeping it a 440, but stroking it to 512CI, when the stock 440 gives out…

It's a 20 foot car and has it's issues, but it's a solid driver. Plans for this winter are new gauges and an A12 style lift off hood. I'm also going to do away with the R/T stuff, I'm not much for clones and would rather build as a customized 500…

I like it because Coronets are rare, I see more Plymouth Satellites then Coronets around my area…

First post... been a lurker for a while, but I thought I'd post up a pic of my recently acquired 96 Dually Suburban. K2500 with a conversion done by someone. I found it cheap and thought it was weird and cool so I snagged her up. It's turning out to be an awesome truck with some work here and there. Some hate these and some love em. Anyways, here she is!

I would LOVE a dually Suburban.

A few years ago this one was for sale at a dealership a friend of mine works for. I tried convincing the wife that we NEEDED it, but she wasn't going for it. :( It was a '93 with only 43,200 miles. Leather seats, dual moonroofs, 454. Man how I wanted that thing.

Technically, this is a 2000 GMC, but since it's in the 88-98 body style, I figure it fits here:

It took me three years to find the right crew cab. I still want a 47-53 crew cab but since I'll probably have to build it to get what I want, it'll never happen :o

The crew cab looks good. They are hard to find in these years, well at least find one that isn't beat to death.

96 Vortec 5.7/4l60 123k original. Fake Z71 (I didn't check before I bought it,) but has G80, 3.73's and skid plates factory :waah:

I plan to daily this for life. GMT400's are the perfect daily's to me, and then C10's as projects.

When I got it:
http://i1227.photobucket.com/albums/...7/IMG_2613.jpg

Now with later model silverado wheels and K02's 265/75
http://i1227.photobucket.com/albums/...7/IMG_3394.png

Engine bay detailed:
http://i1227.photobucket.com/albums/...7/IMG_3266.jpg

After I fixed/upgraded my 4wd with an electric actuator:
http://i1227.photobucket.com/albums/...7/IMG_3239.jpg

Can't decide if I want to crank for level yet, but it's staying 99% original. It was hard to find a 96-98 Swb single cab "Z71"!

Nice looking truck, I can't agree more about what a nice daily driver the scsb makes. I was lucky enough to find an Arizona truck in New England. Our weather is not kind to them here. Good luck with the new ride.

Bob
