I decided to purchase the House of Colors Digital Paint Booth program because even though I do love Red, I wanted to mess around with some different colors. I really like this program, love how with just a click of the mouse I can change the color. Just wish they had more wheel options. First off some pics of some Blue combos.

Re: Project "What was I Thinking" 68 SWB

My wife loves the Blue with just the White grill and letters, she even says it blows away the Red. As she puts it, everything is Red . My truck is originally Blue/White and I'm liking the concept of painting it back Blue/White but with a little change in the stock color scheme.

Really liking the blue...will be a lot like the 68 bb truck I'm building. Did you try one with the grill in blue also? I've been thinking of that or silver without doing white anywhere else.

I also like the silver although it looks really good in red and white also....these trucks pretty much look good in any color....even ochre ;)

Thanks Russ, I knew you would like it. I like the white and silver but the blue just jumps off the screen. If I did paint it blue, I would want an electric blue like this.

I did try one with the grill blue but I really want a white grill. I'm really liking the white top too but you are right these trucks look good in just about every color.

Yeah the red interior is sweet, especially in a white, silver or black vehicle. Yeah I changed my name, it was something that was bothering me so I decided I needed to change it.

Electric Blue is my favorite color. My previous 2008 Tundra was that color. My 2012 would be the same color if they hadn't discontinued it.

I've kicked around changing the color of my Chevy to Silver or Electric Blue, but I really like the classic white look too, and its cheaper to paint it white vs. changing the color.

House of color Tru Blu Pearl is my all time favorite paint color. I would paint everything that color if I could. :)

I say...... BLUE.

RED! gets my vote every time.
The blue does look good though.

White looks great too, that's why I did a rendering in white. Plus there aren't many trucks on here white, especially 67-68's. If you like your truck white then I would keep it white, and like you said it will be cheaper then a complete color change.

Thanks Nate I think I have seen a certain 55-57 you had painted that color ;) I really love True Blue Pearl too but it is expensive at $90 a quart. I need to find the same color but cheaper  It will probably end up electric blue this way my wife won't mind me spending all the money on a paint job. She loves the blue.

There you go Mike being the devil on my shoulder  you must know I have a soft spot for Red. My only problem is my last truck was Red and with a Red interior too and I still sold it. I think I want something different.

 I wish Buck, I wouldn't have such a hard time making up my mind on everything if I could have more than one.

The 2012 Nissan Daytona Blue is real close to that color.

That blue looks good! I'm partial to blue, since it's my favorite color. Both of my classics are a shade of blue and I'm keeping the C10 in the blue family, but if I get another vehicle, I might go with red, or something different. But I say you can't go wrong with a blue like that.

Thanks, red is my favorite color and my wife always says no matter what I say or do I will paint it Red  right now I'm leaning towards something different then Red but we will see. It's not like I'm going to be ready for paint anytime soon. I'm still going to play with some other color combos this weekend.

Does this mean you'll be changing your mind several times before you actually paint it?

 this is exactly what it means, I have already changed my mind a thousands times about paint. My father told me yeaterday, "you just need to make a plan and stick to it" I laughed at him and said that's just not me.

Why not paint to match the original color when you got it? I think that was a great combo
