Re: Project NOT4SLE

I'm calling Nathan's version of the PHB the "OK" PHB vs. other companies that offer 'Super Track Bar' kits. 'OK' stands for OverKill  .

I wanted to install my stuff but it was 100% freakin humidity (the shop floor was wet!!) so no handling bare metal yesterday for me or it would be instant rust!

You are correct on the two brackets. One is the drivers shock mount, the other is the pass side shock/PHB mount.

I think once powder coated the install will run a few days with everything, new bushings, joints, steering and cleaning everything up

Re: Project NOT4SLE

Well I have officially licensed, registered and switched title on my truck. :metal::metal: now she can be driven although I have a few more kinks to work out.

working on the carb a bit to fine tune it and the float bowl gasket started leaking on the float height adjustment screw. GRRRR

Going to find one tomorrow so I can get to driving this beast around....

Re: Project NOT4SLE

I picked up new arm rest pads, a real gas cap, peep mirror, new interior door handles and window cranks, 67-70 front bumper and front bumper mounts and i think thats about it this morning.

the truck is getting to look more and more like a truck.

Re: Project NOT4SLE

picking up the powdered pieces tomorrow and my spindles should be here tomorrow as well.

Tomorrow when I get off work I am going to try and take some pics of a steering set up I have that is brand new, I want to see if it is for a disc brake set up or not. I am pretty sure all disc brake front ends are the same on the se trucks. Maybe someone can identify it for me.

I go hunting on the 6th of November through the 12th so I am hoping to get the suspension done before then but it is doubtful.

I have the complete new steering assembly, springs, shocks, and the porter stuff to go on. AS well as new upper and lower ball joints, and cross shafts for the a arms.

recommend anything else to replace when doing the suspension?
