Re: calling all 2wd suburbans!!!
I sure wish I could get started on my 67. Those burbs are really inspiring.

Re: calling all 2wd suburbans!!!
Just got myself a 69 Suburban. I don't have pics yet, but I will soon. It's been too cold and rainy here to get the camera out.

Re: calling all 2wd suburbans!!!
I revived the thread, and I never even added my own.
It's a 2wd 3/4 ton... http://i213.photobucket.com/albums/c...b/100_4125.jpg Mine and my dads http://i213.photobucket.com/albums/c...b/100_4258.jpg http://i213.photobucket.com/albums/c...0/IMG_4476.jpg http://i213.photobucket.com/albums/c...b/ff67837a.jpg she's a workhorse... http://i213.photobucket.com/albums/c...b/IMG_3916.jpg http://i213.photobucket.com/albums/c...b/67f59e6f.jpg http://i213.photobucket.com/albums/c...b/100_3862.jpg http://i213.photobucket.com/albums/c...100_3855-1.jpg http://i213.photobucket.com/albums/c...0/36b5a773.jpg |

Here's the '69 1/2 ton I picked up a while back. I'm making some progress on it but I had to re-do some things on it that were not done right...:( LockDoc |

Re: calling all 2wd suburbans!!!
hdman6465 I love the stance of your burb. What drop do you have? and what size tires are you running? I have an 8 lugger too.

Re: calling all 2wd suburbans!!!
I have bags 2600 lb. frt. and rear, dropped spindles, notch kit, steel floor,(for clearance) , 225x60 fronts and 285x70 rear. Thanks for the compliments.

I believe the stance of the truck is enhanced and made to appear lower due to the running boards. I'll post some more photos as soon as I have time. One other thing is that there is a trailer on the back with a lot of tongue weight on it, and does make it appear lower. There must be a drop to it, in fact the guy who told me about this forum said it was dropped, Chris (Vectorit). Thanks Chris for the invite this is Burb heaven! |

Well.. It's not pretty but here's mine. '68 with shaved markers, rough riding drop, dremel ground wide whites, nice running 350 and a stick. Half ton with 6 lugs.

Re: calling all 2wd suburbans!!!
Such a cool pic. I just had to share...
I had lunch with board member GCBURDIC today and my Burb met his new survivor Burb. It is ONE SWEET ride! http://i213.photobucket.com/albums/c...0/867c3184.jpg |

I still see you running around town in your burb! So cool to see the old iron still out on the road, especially around where we live where everything is new and plastic. |

Just hung the front clip back on and installing hood hinges. Lots of nice burbs on this thread, I've got a long way to go to catch up! Posted via Mobile Device |
