This year We went to Arvada to my Grandson's 4th Birthday party . Weather was nice enough for and outdoor party. We're hosting Thanksgiving this year. Pending everyone's health.

Yep! Today was one of those days. Drove to breakfast:mm:, stopped by the dollar store, went by my Mother in Law's house. Took it for a drive down by the river and then went back to the house to clean it up a little before putting her away. Then while I had the shop vac out I cleaned up the Burb. After the sun went down I came in and changed furnace filters Did my laundry and changed the bedding on the waterbed. I need to go back to work to get some rest. :)

I'm glad I got her cleaned up and put away. The weather changed , it has been freezing rain for the last two days. :( I'd rather have snow anyday.

Me too! I say sleet and freezing rain are payback to all those who cuss snow. Gotta get something and hey, it is wintertime after all. Right now it is dry and really cold. Often we get that, then it warms up and rains. I'd rather have snow than 40* bone chilling rain. Yuk!

Another Beautiful day. Hauled some floral arrangements my Wife had put together to my Mother in Laws house and helped set up her new phone after we had gone to breakfast.

I had a mouse pad special made, so I bought a wireless mouse while I was at it. I also had to replace my old laptop, it would no longer support windows7 Now I'm on windows11. I'm having a learning experience. :confused:

And the hub cap looks like the one I need to match my originals but is smaller , I bought it to hang on the wall.

Yes, those often gone missing deflector doors ~ in my Nash Metropolitan FHC the doors are missing and they're necessary to make the defroster work .

Just polish the hub cap and paint in the bowtie in blue, it'll look great on the garage wall .

Time change has brought out the guys on Tuesday nights. We had 9-10 guys show up on our first meet of the season. We will do this (weather permitting) til we change time in the fall. :burnout:

I like your Blazer .It's no surprise mostly Chevies showed up ~ in the 1970's we had terrible rainstorms and I roll up in my unrestored but ever faithful 1946 3100 pickup, vacuum wipers slapping away, heater gently blowing hot air :chevy: .

I recall one epic tow job from Lake Tahoe to Los Angeles in a snow storm ~ 6.50 X 16" bias ply tires I thought I was going to freeze to death but the rig never skipped a beat .

April 2nd I was invited to display my truck in the Canon City 150 year celebration as a representation of the 1930's . They tried to get 1 car and 1 truck for each decade. The oldest car was a 1915, my 1935 was the oldest truck.

I was not ready for that lol..

That had to be fun and an honor to be asked.

Thanks! We had fun and saw a lot of people. The town had a good turnout . They had a Fireworks display at 8 P.M. off the top of Skyline Drive west of town.
