Driving when you can is the best part! as for the
rattles.........clanks.....bangs.... Remember it's a 60+ year old truck they did that new.

I know you've moved on from the dropped axle (way, way on)--but I was hoping you or some followers could identify this power steering setup on an AD. It appears to be a 70's-80's steering box ahead of the axle, but is the linkage & steering arm a kit? It would appear to solve some header clearance issues, but is it functional?

Personally, I like that you took the bumper guards off. It's a cleaner look. Seems like you took steel wool or polish to the grill and bumper(?) anyway, he looks really nice. Congrats!

I liked the bumper guard, but it hung down below the bumper and was always scrapping on the ground.

That was a kit that was sold by CPP and others, and might be still available. Was it functional? As someone who wasted his money on that setup, no, it is not acceptable due to excessive bump steer. There are some on the forum here who will disagree with me on this but it's my opinion.

Big life changes for the Koch Family. Now in Idaho. The hot rod scene is strong here. Car Shows and cruise in's weekly!!
