haha yeah but now they will live in 67cheby truck he never told me if he got them or not
it will come hopefully i get some cash soon so i can get some more parts like a battery and coolant lines.

At least there are some running around there. I have yet to see a burb around here. How rare are burbs?

Step by Step

1: BLOCK THE WHEELS!!!
2: Disconnect the linkage bar from the "C" Arm on the Transmission
3: Manually move the transmission selector shaft to the NEUTRAL position
a: Note, when looking at the selector from the left, fully CW is PARK, two "clicks" CCW will be NEUTRAL.
4: Move your Transmission selector lever to the Neutral position
5: Adjust the column-to-linkage rod position until the linkage bar slides into the "C" arm without interference
6: tighten adjusters!

Two of the most important things about doing this are 1: Blocking your wheels, not just relying on your park brake, and 2: full Clockwise travel (all the way back) is PARK and full Counter Clockwise travel (all the way forward) is FIRST gear

Here are some things that are key to Chevy transmission linkages
There are plastic bushings that if missing or worn can make setting the linkage difficult. Any worn, loose, or bent parts will make the adjustment difficult. Do you have pictures of how the linkage is installed on your truck right now? I know the on piece I sent you was the 4X4 frame mount, so maybe we can examine how it is installed and see what is going on.

ok i got the shifting linkage to work well with the engine and cab ... now for update...

i got for short time use the driver outside mirror, the throttle rod linkage, tilt shift indicator.

well after today (im going to get coolant lines) i will need driveline gas (duh lol) and a battery... i still need to get my gas tank lined and a new float:waah: so i am SUPER CLOSE now i got the fitting on the back of the carburator for the power brake booster and hooked it up so now when i turn it on ill have brakes

well coolant lines are going to have to wait... it was 49 bucks for the lines and 2 fittings... al i had was a 20 lol

the guys got a decent stash of parts from my 67. Mainly ricky....the truck had full trim. ricky has a decent amount now :metal:
truck had some unmolested wiring which rick will install in his truck.
he's happy now.....


but wait til i tally up his list of prices. hahaha:ito:

haha yes that grinder mark feels good! well got my dash wiring installed still workin on the fan shroud and float but ill get it before the days done!

Well my fan is to big for the fan shroud so im going to get a smaller fan shroud was pounding out dents on the passenger fender still need a bunch more work...
