Wow I didnt know they had shows. I go there every now and then its only a mile from my house. To bad my truck wasnt ready to drive. But probably in a couple more months and fun time everyday driving to work in it.

What do you need to get your truck on the road? Can I help with some parts?

Well I gotta save up money first to get a new title and plates. Then once I get insurance on it I can drive it over to get new tires for the steelies you sold me :). Still have those old tires on them from when I bought them from you. Also need to get a muffler on it cause it only has like 4feet of straight pipe haha. Surprisinly it is not loud at all on my inline 250. But I want it done right. After that Just see what else needs to be replaced. Keeping it simple and not trying to be fancy. JUST SAFE and Reliable.

FWIW ;

Chevy InLine 6 Bangers are very softly cammed so you needn't run any mufler , just a long straight pipe to the rear bumper is all you'll ever need .

Might be cheaper for the muffler shop to put straight pipe then. I dont have a welder to do it myself. As for tires my neighbor is gonna sell me some kumho 235/75/15 all 4 for around $100 and they have very good thread on them still.

I remember going to Westec to look at a Fadal for the aircraft company I useto work for. We bought a 3 axis back in 1998 and used MasterCam. I made a few parts with it. Im sure its much easier to use now.

I know fadal, fanuc and haas controls but ive been running siemens 840d controls for the last 8 1/2 years i feel like ive forgotten the rest. Although i am very proficient with the 5 axis mill ive been using.

Need to get back on the other controls to brush up on them. Although im old school and prefer tk use a bridgport or conventional lathe when possible. but cnc can be fun for sure

Re: Bench Seats

ANY So. Cal. Self Service Junkyard if full of them , $40 or less each .

I highly suggest getting the later model ones that fold forward....

I gave away my perfect non folding bench seat after buying a cherry $35 folding one @ P-A-P and buying black extra firm foam and having it recovered... $ well spent if you're planning to drive it much .
