Correct, this is NOT designed to be used with trailing arms.

Will the notches be modular- say if someone wanted to change to a larger notch later for taller tires/wheels or just wanted to go lower- would it be a bolt-in swap?

The notches are a modular design. If one originally purchased a 26" notch and later decided to switch to a 32" notch, they would just need to unbolt the original notch, and bolt-in the larger one (sounds a lot easier than it really would be). All the drilled mounting locations are universal for the notches.

How tall of a tire can you lay on a 26" tall notch ? 44" super swampers ...

The assigned a size to each notch in inches, that coordinates with what size tire you can lay frame on.

I know you're just playing with me Clint... enough with the "man crush".:ele:

I call inland Empire, and they told me that the mounting holes were the same as stock. I really like this setup for HP applications.

Do you by chance have a dimensionon the mounting hole spread? If so, I can verify, and modify the mounting pad if necessary. I am assuming a generic mounting dimension isused... but that would make life too easy!

The carrier bearing crossmember can be moved up,down, forward or back to accomodate different configurations.

Dang, is there anything that you don't think about when building these. The attention to detail is incredible. All universal bolt holes amazes me.

That ONE?! if you look in one of the pics there's enough parts for at least 10 more. Add in the front DM is got to be 200+ made by now. ALL welded and hand assembled by 1 dude I'd like to know when that boy sleeps? Looking at those welds and the productivity I'm convinced he's somesort of cyborg or clone.

I'm sure Nate will correct me if I'm wrong ( it happens ) but the last specs I got was the rear DM topped out at a whopping 12.5" above the top of the factory rail. I believe tyhe actual quote from Nate was " Your plywood floor is ready for the fire pile"

Actually, Nate doesn't do any real work anymore. He does the design and sends it overseas to be welded. It's the American way.

:D

No, it is not done overseas. I've been there and seen who he has doing his work for him! Here is a pic I shot of them. They sing and work at the same time!

We are just over the 200 mark on Dropmembers sold (including rears). It's been a good couple years, thanks to all my customers. I must admit, some days I get a little tired of welding!:waah:

The biggest notch I make (will lay a 32" tire) sits 12.5" above the frame-rail at the axle center-line, with the bridge piece bolted on. People ask... how much do I have to "trim" the bed floor? It's best to remove it and start over.;)
