Well I'm starting to memorize my card number from using it so much. We're in the midst of harvest so I'm just saving up now. Hopefully I can get the wiring and fuel wrapped up in the next month. I just ordered the VHX's with the OBD can for speedo and tach and many more.

Just send those back and get their new cluster if you think the VHX don't cost enough.

The VHX's are the only ones that will work with the OBD-II can. But I saw that. You have Dakota's in yours right?

I want that HDX now that I have almost a year on my VHX setup. It is great, but I wish there was more that could be displayed on the dash at once, the HDX should cover that

Add a second display/clock. It isn't much, but should help. I got one for mine from a 40 Ford. I haven't decided where I'll put it at this time though.

I could probably have a brand new duramax after I'm done with my build... :mm: but so could a lot of people. I have a pretty good chunk of change in my VHX setup also

We all just hope our wives sell our parts for what they're worth and not what we told them we bought them for :haha:

I teaching my wife what my parts are actually worth ,she goes to the swap meets with me . I price my parts to move and she knows how much to discount them and I go out buying more .

There was a little sarcasm in that, but I am halfway there! :mm:Swapped a couple of tires and wheels with my friend so he could fit his truck on the garage for paint. When I get more time I will put them both on the same side to see how they look. Sorry about the crappy picture.

What kind of help are you needing? I know a fellow board member that does a lot of dmax swaps and he probably can get you in contact with someone, or may know what you need to do.

I may need it later on but he is helping me do all of the wiring/electrical work. Thanks for the help. I would attempt to do the wiring but it would be my first one and I'm a newb. I also want it to look really nice, and I don't think mine would  :waah:

Nothing wrong with reaching out for help. Especially for wiring as those problems can drive you nuts!

what color are you painting this beast, , are you going with red and white or orange/ w, I see you referenced the orange and white blazer, those 2 colors do look pretty sharp:chevy::metal:

I'm going with white and viper red. It's about as red as it can get. It will be a while before I am able to paint it. Here is the paint scheme in another dmax truck, but mine will be more red than orange.
