Re: Bowtie468's Extreme '68 BuildPage
Wow, looking back it's been 6 1/2 weeks since I said I was getting back to work on it !! . Not much has been done in that time but I'm glad to say that my interest in the project seems to be back on track ! Sometimes you just have to walk away from them !!! More pics coming soon !:chevy:

Re: Bowtie468's Extreme '68 BuildPage
This build is looking really sick!!! I like everything about it, especially the 3rd brake light. One question tho, how did you manage to mount it? A pik from the inside would be great.

Who is that system by? It kinda looks like a billet specialties kit, but then again it looks a bit different

Re: Bowtie468's Extreme '68 BuildPage
I've heard of them before but never checked them out. Have you heard of any issues with alignment? My guess is they use the same suppliers as everyone else for the components? Sanden A/C, Edelbrock water pump, Mavel power steering or something like that? I really like the look of it...will have to find out more

Being polished ! Also, attach the piece of trim being polished to a piece of wood . You'll be better able to control it and will keep the wheels from pulling it out of your hands or grabbing it which usually ends up bending the trim . I did also order a cutting wheel for stainless ( looks pretty aggressive ) but haven't needed to use it yet . I can't recall the material it's made of at the moment . Do a search on Eastwoods site and you'll see everything I'm referring to . I'll be polishing up my rear window trim before to long and will post pics when it done . Good luck with yours and holler back with any other questions about it . Posted via Mobile Device The aggresive cutting wheel i was referring to in the above post, is a Sisal buff wheel.
