How about the clearance for 22's on that drop with a 35 series tire?

That depends on the width of the rim and the backspacing and overall tire size...

...but you still should be fine unless you have a super wide rim with a wrong offset on it....

Nice looking truck. You have some questions about drop. Do a search for Blank Slate. Nates 69 looks real fine. He has a lot of good information on his build thread!

Great looking truck, as far as the 22's fitting with the 3/5 drop, it'll be entirely dependent on how wide the rim/tire is. If you don't go with real wide drag style tires you should be good.

I had problems with my coils too, I had the retainer break off the frame and damage my truck in fact.

Wow really!!???? I had to cut my retainer cups with my grinder, because i couldn't get the bolts out. Eventually got it. As for my rims I intend to go with a 22x9.5 Foose Nitrous all around with a 35 series tire. I had actually thought about airbags (Still considering it) I just dont want to mod my tubs, bed, and inner fenders. My research shows that the C-Notch is not as difficult as I first thought. Just don't know yet.

Hey Rick, I'm not a brake guy, so I have no idea about what an Eldorado brake even looks like. I bought them from POL. Here is the desciption of the brakes and a picture of the bracket. The bracket is cool because you don't have to take the axel off to install them.

I bought the entire kit from POL, I upgraded to stainless steel hoses. I'm sure POL sells the brackets. You will need a proportioning valve that correlates with your brakes ie (Drum/disc) or (Disc/Disc). You will need a different e brake cable this is the number they gave me to accomodate this(562) 949-0455. I heard that Willwood sells a valve that is adjustable for all types of application and it's actually reasonably priced. I wished I could enlighting you more. But I'm really green to this whole thing. I'm learning as I go. No need to be sorry. I love this site. I wished I'd known about it sooner!!!! I'd probably be farther along than I am!!!!! Keep in touch!!!! Let me know how it goes! I have two other guys building trucks right behind me. I'm the guinny Pig!!!

Put the 4 inch rear drop coils on tonight to see what I'm working with. It's hard to tell without putting the 2 inch in the front, but there is a very good drop, but I think I have to go with the 3/5 application. tell me what you guys think? I have brand new 2/4 inch drop CPP Coils for sale!!!!

I'm currently taking the mock up pine wood and having a cabinet maker in town make me red oak pieces. Saving me approximately $200.00 in the process. I was watching Spike TV about a couple years ago and the guys were buliding a F100 called Old Skool. They put wood in the bed, stained it with this beautiful stain and then epoxied it with this item called Mirror Coat

1.First sand your wood with a 320 grit/ with a rubber block (get rid of dust)
2.I then applied the stain of choice with a foam brush (leave on 5-10 minutes for desired shade longer more dark)
3.Take a cloth towel wrapped in a paint roller and wipe the excess (Drag to wipe do not roll)
4.Wait to dry.
Here are my sample results and a picture of the Mirror Coat. (Part two coming soon)
