Okay so...

The new engine mounts are in and she is all moved back and lowered in between the rails as low as we can go now. I think i just bought a new intake manifold set up for it.....ordered more parts today....rubs my hands together.

This is an awesome project! Keep at it. I love pro streeted anything. And I'm liking this race to the end finish you and Dino have going. Okay, it's not really a race since Dino is cheating using under the table paid elves.

Re: 1966 SBBW pro street

lol....

Well i don't know if we are racing to complete....but uhm....I don't want to have mine finished last. But that Dino doesn't sleep...has elves working for him...and he is a truck building machine. I am just a poor old country boy trying to get by on a limited amount of talent and charm.....lol

Re: 1966 SBBW pro street

wutnxt.....So right now I have collected enough hoods to do what i think I want to do ....I just have to make a choice to do it or not. Does that make sence?
Then We decided to move the engine back another 6"and lower it 2" which again impacts some of the hood mods i am considering....

that does make sence! i think i may have to get another hood just to practice on and one i'll leave stock just in case! i would agree with you wutnxt, you and dino's prostreet trucks would look awesome side by side!! i'm thinking about moving my truck to my place since right now it's a 25 min drive to where is at now! that way i can just walk out side and work on it! i've made friends with my neighbor over the last 3 months and he's offered to help work on it with me, i'm not complaining the more help the better! i might be moving it this weekend we'll see! if i do get it moved i'll finely update my thread, i'll get more work done on it,an the wife brought up the move an i agreed with it so thats a plus right!! at one point she was jealous of my truck now she gets it, i love her for that! n-e-ways nice progress on your truck

Dino....

Dude I am going to drop a 6 straight in mine ....and then I am going to take one of the garbage can lids from McDonalds and duct tape it onto my hood for a scoop. It's faster so i might be able to catch up to your build and it's cheaper so i might be able to afford some paint now....chuckles...

Dont forget to pick a pair of used leaf blowers to use as turbos for the 6.

Weld Racing Pro Star 96-Series Wheel
Nice...............
Keep'em polished!
They are a pain once they sit for a long time.
My truck set for 4 years and they turned grey.
I used a whole can of Mothers Billet Metal Polish.
Still tring to keep my welds shiney!
She is looking good Bud!
