I was able to use the ones from the 5.3, they worked with my gear box, my gear box leaks pretty bad tho

yup just pull the weird stuff off the back of the 5.3 pump and slap the stock valve & fitting from the old sbc pump in there. worked like a charm and no leaks. take a sec to flush your box and pump. mine got moisture in it from sitting and made a nice milkshake when i fired it up.

Lookin good . I take it you used the stick radiator? I nerd to get a radiator for mine. What did you end up doing for the mufflers?

I used the same ones as before, They where somewhat new so no need to replace them

Hooked up and ran, no codes at the moment, when it does throw a code it's crazy bright, that just lets you know it's working

so this linkage somewhat worked, didnt want to go into park, so back to the drawing board...i might do something similar except with 1/4 inch steel, i may do the something but go underneath the column instead of over it...pretty frustrating!!!!!

I used the stock linkage in my 71 swap just swaped the c channel cup on the trans

Looking good. I just picked up the pump fitting for mine as well. I also need to div the linkage. What transmission are you running? I need to do my linkage too.

I'm running the 4l60, shifts good, for a couple days i drove around with the linkage coming through my little door window!!! haha...too eager to get her out and about

I just slid my pointer on the frame back until it lined up with the shaft on the trans. About 7/16". Bolted it up and never thought about it again.

I got it man, I had to goto ammco to get the piece to slide it in but so much easier than I was trying to do
