Found some more rust I will have to repair on the inside of the cab corners

Worked on repairing the rust on the corner of the driver door. Cut out all the rust and made a patch. Will weld it in tomorrow.

I wish my wife's son had some interest in mechanical stuff, nope.

I like the way you just keep at it and do what you need to every day.

Thanks for the compliments grizz, I try to get something done every day on the truck and stay motivated so that the truck is ready by the time I'm 17. I don't know what the laws are like over in the uk, but here I can get my learner at 16 and drive with an adult for a year. Then at 17, I can get my novice licence and drive on my own.

Welded some more of the bumper mounts, this will slide and bolt into the frame and the angled end will bolt to the pieces I made earlier with the oblong holes

Well, got the sm420 out and it put up quite a fight! I'm going to be sore tomorrow. I should get the t5 in tomorrow or the next day

Picked up my t5 today. Jeep 10 spline input shaft, shortened pilot tip and shortened bearing retainer, S10 tail housing so shifter is in correct location for a bench seat. OD gear is 0.76

Got the t5 installed today:chevy:. Still need to shorten the driveshaft and cut the new hole in the tunnel but it looking pretty sweet already:metal:
