Been getting some work done. Got the doors mounted and started to install the A/C, Heat and Defrost kit from old air. Also got the seatbelts on, one thing you might notice is that I mounted the female side towards the doors, I did this so the male end wouldn't lay on the rocker and someone would try and close the door and create some scratches that would make me sick. I'm really happy with the way they worked out, and the set is retractable! Tonight I finished up mounting the new power steering box. If you look close you can see captain fabs steering box adapter plate and also tube and flange. Although I had a little problem with finding the right rag joint so ill share the part number for the steering box and rag joint.

Steering box - Cardone 27-7501 (From 73'-76' trucks from my understanding)

Rag joint - Dorman 31015

Its been awhile since i've updated last but I was able to make some progress. I mounted an some extra gauges since my temp gauge didn't work in the factory cluster. Next, my dad helped me finish up the power steering system by getting some lines made for me while I was at school. I did some painting with KBS to the cross members that go underneath the bed as well as underneath the bedsides themselves. I also tried my hand at shrinking metal with a torch and a cold rag. Lastly, I couldn't pass up on a deal that came up online when I was at school so I went to the ATM and packed this set of wheels in the back of my car. Kept them in my dorm so they wouldn't get stolen. I apologize I can't get the images to rotate vertically.

I managed to create my own AC duct since the original was missing when I purchased the truck. I ended up starting with a straighter piece and then had to remake it with the entry tube coming out at an angle so it didn't hit my switches. I again apologize for the horizontal images.

I also made some speaker boxes and attached them by cutting pieces of angle iron and using the gas tank strap mounts. Last you can see I finished up plumbing my ac system with a new adapter manifold.

Paint and reassembly! Paint turned out pretty good for some young guys who do it for a hobby. Added a light bar under the rear bumper for reverse lights. Trying to get it finished up and ready for spring.

Very nice. What's the color? It pops in the images so I bet it really stands out in person.

Thank you! The blue is called "Deep Impact Blue" code J4 which came on 2017 Ford Mustangs! I'll be sure to post pictures this spring when I get it out in the sun.

Great photo of the mirror finish! Although I am sorry to see the “saddle” go, the blue is amazing. I just read your complete thread from when you were a 16 year old, 6 years in one night! and what impresses me the most is your patience and persistence, I bet you are DYING to take this baby for a spin completed! great build and attention to detail, and what a learning experience doing a build like this. Can’t wait for the finished product. Oh, and I bet you will have no trouble finding a new home for the hubcaps to someone on this site haha

Hhmm.... Timing is good. Should be a nice graduation present to yourself. Definitely shows you've got the moxy to see things through to completion.

Congrats on both.
