I drove the truck maybe 10-12 miles and the bottom fell out. It was trashed by the time I got home. I was washing it before the water got dry on the wheels

Thanks for all the compliments, guys. Chad and I built this truck as a team. I couldn't have asked for a better partner thrashing on his truck. It really has taken on a personality of it's own.

Has it been listed for sale yet?

Re: Project Grande Slam: Coley's Hot Rod Shop

We almost have the dealer installed GM under dash air unit working. It will work now on lo and high settings and cool air blows out but it makes an awful squeeking sound.

We found a blown 25A fuse and replaced it.. and viola. I don't think it has ran in 10+ yrs, maybe the blower motor had kinda crusted up? The more its run the better the squeel gets. It runs on lo now and doesn't sqeel. We are going to charge it and see if it will blow cold. R12 I'm assuming..

Working super cold AC has to be worth a little bit :). Dad replaced the drivers side eyebrow trim today, it had a nickel sized rust spot on it. Looks much better.

So were just doing little final details then I'll list it on fee bay.

I'm planning to take a bunch of pics to post it up for sale, I just can't seem to get any decent weather in SE TN. In the past 7 weekends it has rained now 6 of them .. and it looks like it's going to be 8/7 very soon. It's like we're in a zone where every 7 days it rains, .. and rains HARD. It starts on Friday and ends on Monday morning. That's the reason I didn't make the HRPT, I got rained out on the show last weekend .. IT has just really set this project on it's heels.

I'm not complaining, .. really .. just saying the weather hasn't been anyone's friend lately. It can't just rain anymore man, .. it has to be wicked storms, tornados, etc.. and I feel for those that have been impacted. We can't do anything about the weather, but it still sucks to wait for enjoying my truck after we put so much work into it. .. all I can do is hope for some decent weather soon.
