Don't see many with a smog pump/components still intact anymore.

Looks like a decent deal. It's probably a lower mileage truck if the smog pump hasn't locked up yet.

Owatonnan Camper Shell $300
Apparently nobody in TX bought a camper shell in the 70's (or they love them so much they'll never sell)

You beat me to it Jocko!

71 C2500 Sierra Grande $14.5K
Interesting SPID - correct GMC model #, but note correct YE9 RPO has Cheyenne Super wording rather than Sierra Grande (shared RPO is correct), lists rear leaf susp (which for some reason I thought was standard on a C2500 w/D60). Pretty neat truck. Original hugger paint maybe?!?

Nice 72 Custom Camper and Cheyenne equipped. $18000. Not mine.

https://portland.craigslist.org/wsc/...182149557.html

Completely restored, no rust, new paint, interior, front wheel assemblies replaced, new brakes, etc. I have all paperwork from the past two owners including dealer prep sheet, two build sheets, protecto plate, service records, and more. I have extra parts that go with the truck. Will not sell separate. I don’t need help selling and only deal in person. Thanks

I’m guessing it’s 8-lug, but if it’s 6-lug I need that for my 68.

Agree that's a very nice one. I'll say this though (and this is a general comment on today's market, not anything negative about this truck) - I think sellers today are misguided when they think that a fake Cheyenne Super K10 swb, for example, is more valuable than an actual Cheyenne K10 swb (they must, or why would they take the time and extra expense to fake one?). At a minimum, the "upgrade" shrinks the potential buyer pool by at least 1... :) But I'd be willing to bet I'm not alone. It can also potentially shrink the price - i.e. it's a false assumption by sellers that they can get original Super money by slapping Super emblems on a truck (unless, of course, they're taking it to Barrett-Jackson). I'd submit that this seller would make more actual profit had he not lifted it, not added Super emblems, not added aftermarket wheels, etc and just sold it as it was, a Cheyenne K10 swb, a rare bird in its own right that buyers will pay top dollar for.

Again, don't get me wrong, this is clearly a very nice truck and my comment is meant to be more general in nature because we see all kinds of trim levels advertised as Supers these days, and there's nothing wrong with that (this seller clearly readily provided a SPID when asked) - but, in some cases, I think sellers are actually shrinking their buyer pool and hurting their profit margin by upgrading to a fake trim level. My 2 cents.

From looking at 1000's and 1000's of truck ads over many years I think the original unmolested or trucks with minimal cosmetic upgrades and safety features and like a 4 speed auto trans sell quicker and bring good money, especially the ones with the A/C stuff intact.Do you agree Mark ?

I agree with you on the auto and a/c being very desirable (aka marketable) upgrades to any truck including original survivors.

Something seems a little fishy with this one. It may be legit, but my Spidy senses are heightened with the way it's written - ??

yep, I noticed that but glad you said it first

phrases like tack rpm and a row bar don't inspire a lot of confidence in authenticity but they have title and accepting cash only so possibly just an ESL situation?

worth a look, that's a really soft price if it's legit..
