Well I'm probably not gonna get many rep points here from anyone but I decided to post up pictures of my other project. Truth is I love all things with pistons, some more than others so here it is. My 1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS-T
91 6bolt swapped motor. (stronger internals, better rods, no crank walk issues)
16g TDO5 Turbo, Ported o2 housing and tube style manifold. OBX boost controller set at 12psi.
Ported Intake
Hard upper intercooler piping.
Short Throw
Tripple Pillar
HKS turbo timer
Eibach Suspension
Blacked out windows
Planning on getting it to the track here really soon. Its a blast to drive.

The 388 stroker is already wore out. One of the heads was bad.
He says he is going to make a 6 sec (8th mile) car out of that 302.......

Cool! See them down Shadeyside Dragway sometimes. There was a fella who had a 68 camaro that would rev his blown 427ci up to 6 to 7 grand, and dump the clutch at the tree....... Crazy mug! Had to have a bulitt proof rear end, and tranny!!!

Hey all, I am new here. I am looking at a 66 C10 Custom that seems all original. It needs a restoration, and I am trying to verify if the motor is original. I came across this thread and thought I'd share my current project.

I love anything with pistons, and some things without!

Re: Any other projects in your garage?

thanks, been rotary since 1999!

I've had everything from mopar muscle, to Nissan rice. But I've always had a thing for Turbo Rotaries and Classic Chevy's... I know, it's a weird mix.

Thats cool there are not many out there. I painted an rx8 and i didnt believe the guy that they run so good " i havent rode in one and just wanted to go for a ride" and at a dead stop he reved it up and dumped the clutch and that thing went circles 7 or so times before i saw a straight line again  i believed him after that

They have more kick than you'd think. The handling is what makes them so fun. Perfect 50/50 weight distribution can get you out of some close calls!!

If you thought the RX8 was fun, you'd love my little 7. I toasted a C05 Vette twice with the stock turbo on my car.

These motors are a little finicky tho... they can't handle detonation much at all, that's why I use water/meth.

The wheels, from what the previous owner told me, are prototype wheels made by Keystone for Michelin for some sort of testing. He had a Kelmark GT that came with them and upgraded and then sold them to me. Im not sure if they were ever produced or if the previous owner was blowing smoke. Some people don't like them I like them because of how different they are.

Here is closer pic, excuse the pollen.
