Hate that money thing personally. Then when you think you found some, someone else takes it from you.

I hear that. That's most of the reason my Longhorn has been a shop floor roller and yard ornament. LMAO!

I wish I had as much done as you Ryan. The wife and I went out yesterday and just sat in the truck. I want it done so bad. I want to have a cool truck to drive.

Haven't made much progress due to no money or motivation, but I have been tinkering with the heater control panel.

Finally got the colors filled in, and clearcoated it with satin.

I like how your combining some modern stuff in an old truck. You have a lot of great ideas, and the skills to back em up!

Driving me nuts not having this done. Flooring work has been nonexistent. Trying to get some welding/fab going.

FINALLY got at least a little update. I spent the day at Jet-cut, finally cutting out the pieces for my rear bag mounts on the waterjet.

I need to final weld them still, and build the top mount.

looks great. Are you doing something similar to the Riderite setups for the newer trucks?

Yeah, but my bags are bigger. I used light 1/2 ton springs for the ride since I'll be empty most of the time. These bags will let the suspension articulate more.

I seen a set of those long travel airbags and they have definitely peaked my interest.

Are you running 63" springs on the back and 52s up front?

Funny story. When i went to the wrecking yard to get 63's for the rears, i found a set of 54's that looked brand new. I think they'll work better for me than 63's. So i have 52's on the front, and 54's on the rear.

54's... what are those off of? 73-87 trucks?
