Wow Keith, Hazel looks amazing. Wish I'd been able to do a similar job on Ethel! You gonna bring Hazel to Columbus next year?

That's the plan, we are hoping to have maybe two or three trucks drive up next year from the Dallas area.......

looking good N2Billet! I'm still waiting to find one like this, guess I need to get out more.

So I was looking around yesterday and ran across this thread on the H.A.M.B.:

http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/s...=355876&page=2 (go down to post 23)

This guy cleans his patina'd cars with CLR (calcium, lime, rust remover) and they come out looking really cool. I know for sure the impala wagon was clear coated, can't speak for the others. I know you're wanting to keep all of the character of the paint, this might be another way to bring it out a bit more. Just a thought.

What's in store for the firewall?
Are you filling it and using a Vintage Air type A/C setup?

The bracket that's bolted to the seat frame is only used to keep everything lined up while I hack on it. I'll try and get some better pictures next time I work on it.

Can't wait to see what you end up doing with your A/C setup, and nice work on the seat.

Did you lower the seat on Lucy? How much will you gain with the seat drop?

Nice work Keith!

He did the seat on TootsieRoll; Lucy was stock height.

On this truck I lowered the rear 1.25 and the front .95

On the Gold truck I lowered the rear 2.00 and the front 1.50
