On the bike.. You name it, and I'll try it. Dual Sport riding is an adventure every time you go out. Rides of 150 miles or more without touching pavement are not uncommon. When I go out I carry spare tubes, nuts, bolts, tie wire, zip ties, first aid kit, survival stuff, and enough tools to almost tear the bike down completely. Usually there are between 2 and 5 riders participating. The terrain can vary from smooth graded roads, to two line, to rocky single track that's difficult to even hike through. It can be quite challenging!

I ride the buggy at Nellis Dunes, and Amargosa mostly.

Nice gixxer, heres my k4 750, I bought it new in 04 and finally started modding it last year. New exhaust, pcIII usb, k&n, painted the wheels white, put flush mount signals, pazzo levers, hot bodies double bubble windscreen and new gel grips and changed the gearing -1,+2(too much I might add, going back to stock in the rear) and did the 520 conversion with a gold chain, also added frame sliders. This year will be, new brakes, and tre/gear indicator, pc auto shift and HID lights, upgrade to ohlins suspension and steering dampener. OR get and 09 600 lol.

ps Its got over 40,000kms on her, I ride to live, live to ride! BUT, I love my cages(cars/trucks) too lol

Nice pictures Kieth.

I rode to Death Valley this weekend. The fun starts where the pavement ends.

Those Hondas are very nice. Do you know a guy by the name of Tom Stockstill? He also goes by "Deluxe Works" out of Lancaster. He does the same thing on a large scale.

Never heard of him. What do you mean "Large Scale"? My son is in Long Beach, and was on HD Theatre in Cafe Racer. He's been doing it for a few years. Have you heard of Carpie?

Re: Pictures of your Motorcycle

I looked it up on goggle it has a couple different meanings.
1. Oral sex performed on the female driver of a moving vehicle.
2. A parasitic acquaintance who brings nothing to the table, often ovestaying their welcome and acting unnecessarily possessive and/or jealous.
Not sure which u mean but there both kinda cool. Learn somthing new everyday that's what I love about this site.:metal::lol::lol:

Actually I have. I should have made the connection.
Tom has been building/restoring old Hondas for decades.
He's retired now and has moved to Montana.
I figured you might have known him by the pictures of your son's bikes and your close proximity to Lancaster.

There are some very sweet bikes in this thread, I'm envious of you all!

I don't have a bike so maybe I don't belong in this thread. But I want one badly, it's 1st on my bucket list. I wanna have a little fun before I leave this world. And two wheels is great way to have fun!

I was actually looking at something like this and was seriously thinking about making a down payment with my tax refund this year but something else came up. Meanwhile, this is my desktop background .. only way bigger! lol
