I love what you are doing and I know you said that there would be a few miles put on this truck but I have to ask after this much work how do you drive them when your done with this perfection? Drive like stolen or push around with white gloves?

I have a factory original, un restored, 69 GTO with a little over 18,000 actual miles. When I first got it in 94 it had 17,700 miles on it. Just loading and unloading at car shows has added the extra miles. I have driven it a few miles around town before, but the stress is just too much! The car has been appraised at $350k, because it's supposed to be the lowest mileage GTO documented, so yes my tale gets a little tight if someone even looks at it! LOL !
I will drive the truck a little, and yes I will get in it's arse a little to see what it's got, but after that it will be slow gooo! I must say after all the vehicles I have built through the years, I really hate to even start the engine on this one! It has really turned out nice. Thanks for the input!!!! |

Thanks Jack! I'm so sore today, Sunday. I'll take a pic when I change the bandage tonight, Im so lucky it didn't go any deeper, it could have so easily! Thanks for everyone's concern, I have had PM's and e mails with folks checking on me, and I again, want to Thank You All !!!!

I hope you are well. I just want to say thank you for posting your build. It very apparent that you are good at what you do and many could learn from you. I know I have used your pics to fix things that I got wrong. That is all I want to say and I hope you keep working on these truck wheather you post or not. Thanks Tim |
