I only wish I had someone share this sort of knowledge & encouragement to soak up as much skills as possible when I was younger. He will reap the rewards now & even more as he grows. |

Thank you.
But at this point I'm just the enabler. The depth of his understanding is way beyond my knowledge. He was explaining to me how he may put the upper ball joint on the bottom of the upper arm to help the roll steer. So neat to see it all making sense to him. •Edit• Maybe posted this before. 2010 beginning of our dash swap. Never knew he was paying that much attention |

The cast iron hub we made had some serious run out issues. Don't know if it was the studs we pressed in or the chineseum rotors.
My kid found these wilwood hubs for a c10 spindle. Wilwood 270-13217 Hub They'll work with our rotor and caliper with about 1/8 machined off the caliper bracket and machined another 1/8 off the od to fit the Id of our rotors. Now onto motor mount and transmission mount. Fusion360 and sendcutsend are cutting those for us |

In the sun.
Some fall cleaning since it's cool enough to do something other than sweat. His 1st design motor mount, I wanted to use oem style clamshell stuff and he said it uses up to much room for headers. Then the ratchet strap didn't get a full wrap and dropped our mockup block on our F body pan. He handled it like a pro- owned the mistake and thankful he didn't catch it. |

Wilwood hubs with a new caliper bracket. New shorter bolts coming.
Funny how a .250 to long of a bolt turns into a $65 order |
Re: 2wd swap
Have your own design bracket cut?

Send cut send, they have been absolutely rocking it. But we asked for powder coat and then it took them longer than usual. My son's cad work is on point lately. His latest project, 8-1 strictly for the sound... |

Take off clip to replace the aftermarket junk we had.
Is every 81-87 hood cracked in the front center? Third hood we've ran across like that. |

Not sure the set back will work. Steering box brace seems stout enough |

Those pics aren't telling as far as set-back isdues.
What are you seeing? |
