Well aren't you the lucky man! First you get to listen to Johnny Cash prison songs while getting kicked out of prison AND then your daughter wants to help on the truck. You are having a great weekend!

you have no idea brother, last night my wife and I went to an Australian friends 60th birthday party (say that cause she's a wild woman) and you guessed it the theme was 60s, so we wore costumes, let's just say I looked like one of these dudes while she was the cutest hippie ever, but we took the '54

funny thing was, she got in the truck for the first time and said "this thing is nice" you can never get tired of hearing that especially after all the hard work, then she tried to reach for the shoulder belt, to which I (fully in character) replied they haven't been invented yet baby!

Very cool..My youngest has his learners permit and is the one always riding shotgun to the shows/cruises and helping me in the garage. I told him he can log some drive time in the truckers this spring......That was until we had him sit in the drivers seat. He is currently 6'2". With the large steering wheel, pedal configuration with his size 15 shoes it will make it a challenge...

Great memories you are creating.

OMG, Marc that's great and what a big, big boy, ha ha

funny story as our teenage son was growing I got this idea in my mind that his shoe size can't ever exceed mine so when he started wearing 10s I bumped up to 10.5 then 11s then 11.5 you get the idea, let's just say one of us has really good balance and the other looks like a clown

also shot across town (25 miles away to stretch her legs on I5 a little bit) and helped a good buddy of mine Marvin drop the newly rebuilt 4th gen 6.0L LS2 V8 back into his sexy 2006 Chevy Trailblazer SS where it belongs

seems like just yesterday when we took that engine out (2019 in actual time, ha ha)

modern cars can be interesting to work on, and I appreciate all the safety features. But there's nothing like the pleasure of driving a classic that you have spent long hours and $$ on making it yours.
