ok guys,
in my 16 years of life, my dad said these things through out the years: "rickey can you help me install the driveline in my 68?" rickey what size is your driveline?"
my dad has taught me that a "driveshaft" is called a driveline he also taught me that the rims on my truck are steel rims and that the rims that are on johns truck are indeed rally rims. i had a guy tell me that "steel rims" rims arent original for my truck, what he was really was saying is rallie rims arent stock for 67 72's....... well i guess this is what you get for being ina town thats not even on the map! lol (im joking it is on the map but we dont represent much for california like sacremento and fresno does....)

Re: slik ricks 67 short wide CST

well i got in the 67, warmed her up, shifted her into nuetral which is actually drive since the linkage for the shifting is backwards and drove her to the end of the driveway! and at the end i think all of my tranny fluid went out of the torque convertor into the tranny so she wasnt willing to o reverse :( but i filled it up an will re try tommorrow!

and other big news is: this weekend i may get the cab! staurday or sunday (i really want to go early in the morning saturday)

Re: slik ricks 67 short wide CST

Hey Rick, never fear. I also call it a driveline or driveshaft, both work.... The whole engine, tranny, rearend.... etc. is called the the drivetrain, Hubscrub :) hahahahaha

67chevy1series 10-20-2011 10:45 PM

Re: slik ricks 67 short wide CST

haha newt that exactly what i though... the driving force for the vehicle is called the drive train, AKA engine tranny DRIVELINE and axle (that last part was for anybody who doesnt live in central valley of california lol)
