i don t have a 4x4 but my dad has a 70 chevy lwb 4x4 and i wanna show mhim what he can all put on his truck and still make it look good

They are completely stock wheels. Would've liked to find the 9.75 wide rims but these took long enough to find all four.

Yup, those are military hummer tires. I had the 36" bias ply on it first but switch as soon as I could afford the radials, now it's like a Cadillac.

Don't mean to hijack the thread, just replying to USSkoval's question.

Heres an old one before it was completely done but on the 36" bias ply tires. Start searching junkyards and swap meets for the rims, I found three at a swap meet and the last two (one for my spare) at a junkyard about a year later. I've seen them at swap meets and at times not the cheapest thing you'd expect for a stock steel wheel. I also picked up a second set of the 8.25" wide rims last year.

MJN i really like your truck especially that shade of blue.nice clean lines overall.normally i like a few custom touches here and there but for being all stock your truck looks really,really good.i really like that its a longbed even more.

You know,Larry,you are one of the only people I've seen that has gone ahead and set up with different sets for different terrain.That's what I do.There is no one tire that does it all without compromise.That's why I always ran 8-lug trucks that took the same size tires.and,when I only had one truck I had two sets.We have beach driving here to gumbo mud to snow and they couldn't be more different in what they demand from a tire.
