So i decided to start a build thread on the 67, that will be my wife's truck to drive. We bought it and decided to let her build it the way she wanted but i am doing most of the work:lol:

I took the interior out and started cleaning the floorboards and painted them they were in good shape notice the rockers and bottom of pass. door where replace by the po

i put the carpet and the seat in and she said i don't like the red interior so i that will be changed lol

I got the motor to run for about 30 second poorly though and the wireing was a mess. Then i found out that the oil was getting water in it so i decided just to pull the motor, hauled it to my dads and got it out

got some small parts painted, and built a small harness to move the wiper switch over like in later models

got a drivers side window regulator and installed it

the wife scraped all the purple tint off the back window and i installed new locks and ing. cylinder, painted the vent window

took apart the heater controls to rebuid them, and started taking off the front sheet medal and installed a door latch control

got the dog house off the truck started cleaning the frame and firewall, got the firewall primed and installed turn siginal and bright indicators in the gauges

painted the inner side of the fenders

got firewall painted and enough of the frame painted to put the motor in, i'll take the suspension off when i have all the weight back on the front end. and got the heater controls back in

one of the heads was cracked so thats where the water was coming from, so i got another one and got them redone

hope fully i can start hanging sheet metal soon. Have to paint the rad. support etc. and need to finish the engine:chevy:

I have a garage, and my truck is sitting outside a garage
but the garage is so full of crap i cant get my truck in it to work LOL and I dont have a gas tank in it to drive it to my house to work |

yea i here ya i go out to my dads where 90% of my stuff is and i have to move something out to get mine in the garage to do something i do all my major work there

haha if it rains i will probably be cleaning out the garage so my truck will fit i mean there is junk EVERYWHERE over there!

well i got the rad. support painted and the hood hinges painted, and had to fix the heater box because i had it on a hook were i painted it and it fell and knocked out a quarter size hole in it:dohh:

it was a new panel so i just scuff it up but on old stuff i sand it and use there brown primer

well got the new seals in the heater box, and installed the fenders, rad.support the rad. support and pass. fender are after market will have to do some hole enlargeing but fits pretty good, maybe later i think me and the wife will cruise down to athens to the big car show:):)

whats that gauge bezel made from? or is it a aftermarket piece. iwas going to use a glove box door but i like the looks of that one much better

it came with the truck i have seen them on classic industries but kinda pricey just plastic

well still didn't get the hood back on :hh: but i did get one small thing done today, started painting the heads on her motor. Well i started painting them a couple weeks ago and i got one painted orange and she told me she wanted her motor a different color so i got it sanded again and such and she got me some paint and...... i also got the headlight adjuster screws put in and the little springs :lol:
