Ripping apart a 91 Suburban 2500 4x4

What do you need?

I have a solid running TBI350 with 4L80E and NP241, harness and computer come with: 1500.00

Corp 14B rear and 10B front with 3.73's: 400.00

Body's trashed.

I bought it for the motor and transmission to put into my 71 K5 but just traded that for a BBC 71 C10 shortbed.

Stock.

edman87 08-23-2005 01:30 AM

if you want to sell the blue dashpad for a decent price, i will probably take it. Any idea on shipping to 70775? Also is it silverado interior? might need some other minor bits.

I'd take 35.00 for the dash pad, if I can remove it safely. No idea on shipping, that's a LONG box and UPS would love to have you pay through the nose for it.

This is a very base suburban.

special-K 08-23-2005 09:54 AM

Would you sell the trans & t-case seperately? You could keep the harness/computer with the engine.

The grill is ok, I don't remember what the fenders look like.

I can also deliver, as I am running from NH to KY and back again.

I could also deliver this motor, tranny and transfer case...

Blue_71 08-23-2005 06:18 PM

I can get pics, it's not at my house, or I would run out and take them now.

Nicholasville.

i want that dash pad. as long as it has no cracks. Not in any rush for it though. It might ship usps, i have shipped a roll pan and such through them. I knoe that a 84 f150 dash is within the usps size limit, but not sure of the gm. Whenever you get a chance check that shipping for me please, i will take it if shipping doesn't kill. I know i will think of somthing else i need from it, but that is it for now. Thanks

Sorry man, I had someone look (at a friend's house) and the pad's cracked. Front seats are torn up but the 2nd and 3rd ones look good.

edman87 08-23-2005 10:19 PM

No problem, I appreciate it.
the front grill is single headlight or dual headlight side by side?

jtmiller92 08-23-2005 11:54 PM

Hmmm, How much would you take for the complete engine without Trans?? (my trans was just rebuilt) I would need all the accessories, TBI, and anything else motor related, possibly harness too for my 88 GMC. Just thinking out loud, i've been looking for a decent motor and since your headed this way. ;)

112k on the motor, no smoke, runs well.

Haven't removed a valve cover. It's still in the truck and driving around. Oil's been changed regularly, so I doubt it's gunked.

special-K 08-27-2005 04:04 PM

So...how much for the trans/t-case?You can pm if you like.Looks like you have interest in the motor and maybe computer.

1FaastC10 08-27-2005 04:42 PM

i hate to rain on anyones parade, but that trans without the wiring harness and computer is 10x as worthless as the engine would be without it. you can still bolt a carbed intake onto the engine, but the trans WILL NOT work without the wiring harness and computer. the aftermarket controllers available for the 4L80E run about $750+

Right, which is why the harness and computer's included with the transmission and not the engine. If it splits to anyone else; I imagine Special-K is looking for spares for his truck that already has a 4L80E and Np241.

Painless Wiring has a stand alone harness for 195 at summit that will run the TBI with a 50.00 junk yard computer.

Sorry I missed this. It's a single headlight set up. Grill is very nice, AFAIR.

FormerMember 09-04-2005 12:21 PM

Buddy really wants this out of his yard.

I really don't have space for it.

FormerMember 09-26-2005 04:37 PM

I still, really, really need to get rid of this entire thing.
