Well after your post i think am chaining it down :lol:

I think you should get it on your list cause the 6 speed is different animal. The response and short gear ratio shifting are just amazing.

Sucks thought i can only use 1st & 2nd gear then after i put on Drive and it has a brain of it own i got no control at all except my foot i hope someone make a controller for it soon cause i cant imagine how awesome it be with steering wheel paddle shifter.

Main body paint got decided almost close to my old paint job but looks nicer? What do you guys think ;)

Frame paint color suggestions needed ? Thinking about Metallic Silver with blue powder coated front end.

Thanks nbpro.

I got the crank on order 2 months ago should be coming this month. I been researching the past 2 months on the heads package and we figured out what we need.

I be ordering the heads and rotating assembly this everything to complete the engine this month.

I got the rendering for my truck but its not perfect so i post it when it be done.

Re: "Brain check" Project

Sorry Its been a while got really busy with life. I have pulled the plug on that body style as it will need tremendous frame work and its not a stable platform for 1500 hp in stock form.

Soo the build is still going but its not going in a C10. I picked a 2007 Silverado Regular Cab just for that project. Sorry for the disappointment but this how life goes you learn as you move on but doesn't mean that there will be no more eye candy.

As for the C10 I will pull 2007 5.3 and trans and put in it.

I think I should post a thread in GMT 900 for that build but this am where i am at now

 I had some up's and down's but I would never abandon the build. If I give up on the build then I give up on everything am just changing things around ;)

I will start cleaning up the frame within next week cuz the engine is coming out soon

Cleaning up the frame with a grinder with wire pad.

Need some kind of cleaner that I can get locally and spray paint. Any recommendations ?

I use the ZEP industrial cleaners from Home Depot, or the Castrol Super Clean. They both work pretty well. Oven cleaner will work well, too.

Thanks :) Home depot is close by so I go pick ZEP from there this weekend and start cleaning the frame. It be a day or 2 of work before i share some results.
