That is not a transmission cooler it is a A/C condenser. Make sure they weld the condenser lines on straight so you do not have to move the brace on the core support to clear the fittings, or have them extend them to the inside of the core support |

My '55 GMC was in paint jail for almost a year but it was worth the wait. Nice job on the truck, looking forward to seeing it painted!

Well a bit of progress has been maid................. not as much as he said he would have done in 30 days, but I do see some progress.
Bed is in final guide coat and ready for blocking and some inside parts are being worked on. I was hoping for the roller chassis this week so I can begin the paint and final assembly of the drive train. Maybe next week, as you all know it is nice to have the primer and skim coat shrink to its final state before base color |

The chassis is complete and running no leaks, brakes are all blead it is going back to the painter next week and he is going to assemble all the sheet metal, back to me for wiring and finish the bed wood and on to the upholstery shop,
No schedule but things are coming together Ask me again in 45 days !!!! |

Stopped by the "JAIL" to see what progress had been made and still no color!
He was in the last prime and block so maybe I will see a coat of sealer on these pieces on the next trip.......... not expecting to see color!! |
