Vintage air sure fit 64-66 installation need help!

5 Attachment(s)
On the way to keep truck cold in 2014:)
It did not start that well - ordered one month ago and brown truck delivered the sure fit package for 64-66 today. I started installation right away to make up the time.

Need some help.
1.When I deleted all firewall holes I did not planned to put in AC. This system uses one of the holes and I need to drill. If somebody can provide me with all 4 dimensions on picture that would save my day. Need also diameter of hole.
2. Vintage air drawing to drill firewall is off?? Bracket measure 7 30/32 between holes, drawing measure 7 21/32???
3. See two different mounting of lines - which go where? Picture of only lines make only sense to mount it but it is not aligned right. When test fit they do not fit in the firewall opening? They are way off when test bolted on!! For price they charge I would expected they match perfect.

Thanks!

Why not make threaded extensions to align the box then grease the ends of the caps and slide it to the firewall to mark th holes then drill them?

Worse case that will have to work but risk of paint chipping is too big drilling inside out. Area was welded and I have thin amount of bondo over it...

Not to be a smarta** but how do the instructions recommend installing the lines?
we've installed several of these units over the years and not had any alignment issues with the lines. But your configuration looks a bit different from what I remember.

to avoid paint chipping use the 3m blue masking tape on your painted side. then drill using a very small drill bit as your guide hole then drill from the outside in.
