I saw the title and KNEW this was the truck you were going to post. My buddy showed me pics of this thing yesterday morning. Very very creative.

I've seen this truck at a few show-n-shines now. It's very well built and definitely one of a kind. You too can have one for a mere $120K!

Thom Taylor posed this as a drawing in a truck mag about a year or two ago as a creative way to modify an early 60's Chev PU. This was carried out very well and extreemly close to the orig drawing. Nice work.

well it certainly is...interesting..

I really have never been able to get into these types of mods, they just seem to take out all of the characters that make these old trucks interesting to me :/

hmmm.... interesting for sure.

Just some critiquing... the proportions are all out of whack, and that top is horrid IMO. It looks awesome from the motor back (minus the top), but I don't like the front end at all. The grill/shell just doesn't seem to fit well with the design, and it's too long of a wheelbase IMO. But overall, a really cool build & design.

I have been watching for more pics but never saw any. Had no idea this truck was finished. Anyhow, here are some I found.

Yes this guy is good. I wish I had half the metal working skills.

I do like it , however I was disappointed with the grille/frontend treatment...
A basic rule for a fenderless car, or any vehicle design for that matter, is to have the grille in the same plane as the rest of the body...
I see this mistake made alot with the ratrod crowd, where the car is chaneled super low , and the top of the grille is even with the roof.
I will post up a pic showing how the grille shell breaks the plane of the rest of the body.
I think the paint is rather boring for such a radical ride, dosen't need grafix or anything, just a more attention grabbing color.

I love it. I get sick of seeing the same old stuff. So this is great. very out of the box.

I can most definitely appreciate all the work that went into that! Wish I had a tenth of his skills. I have to agree with number of comments made above though, just isn't what holds my interest in these trucks. Now that blue truck on the lift with the hood cut back and the pipes coming out, I can dig that!
