1969 K5 Blazer - Just Getting Started
5 Attachment(s)
I am the proud new owner of a 1969 Blazer. Some pics attached.
I am likely NOT going to keep it factory stock, but rather make some improvements for comfort/safety. Currently I am trying to find some sources for: 1) Door lock hardware (have key insert, but not the riser) 2) Hardware for the locking of the back window 3) Were there ever any shocks for the back window, it's a heavy beast 4) New seats (or seats from a new Chevy/GMC) perhaps with integrated shoulder belts. Lots of other projects to get started, needs an engine rebuild soon, also likely a trans rebuild. Frame is a bit tweaked from looking at the gaps of the doors (no gaps on the passenger door, large gaps on the drivers side door). Lots to do, I'm way out of my element, but roll the sleeves up and dig in, right? But for now I want to drive it a bit and enjoy before I get too drastic/ambitious. |

Great looking ride! I agree, drive around and get a feel for what you wanna do with it.
Looking forward to your progress! |

I don't know. Im not an expert at all. Mine has been in my family since it was brand new and was wondering why mine has these old metal ones.
