Diesel tanks used for gas

I there wondering if someone can help me on this.
My truck was converted to LPG and the complete twin tank gasoline system removed.(brackets , filler hose the lot)
I have found a truck with a twin tank set up but its diesel.
Can I use it for gasoline (filler hose, sender complete to selection valve). If not can I use some of it?

They should work. They may or may not have a fuel return line. It's not always needed but if you wanted it, all you would need is new sending units.

My '82 3/4 ton started life as a diesel and as I recall all I had to do was put the fuel nozzle restrictors in the filler necks to get by our smog laws ! Oh and I had to blank out the Diesel Fuel Only on the fuel gauge ! pretty simple swap as I recall !

I would flush the tanks as well.

They work fine with gas in them on mine. Definitely flush them...
