Picked up a 84 K20 last weekend

Bought this 1984 Chev k20 few weeks back and drove down to Washougal Washington actually Camas to get it . 15hr drive each way but was worth it. Hard to find a 3/4 ton 4x4 up here and if you do most are beat to crap and rusted out bad . I been looking for a good one for a few years going to put a sled deck on it in winter and use if for snowmobiling when needed. I had the similar truck in the early 90s. I been on the 60-66 forum a number of years built 3 of that gen and building a 45 1/2 ton right now . This truck is really solid next too no rust and is really straight. Has a/c and tilt few other options. Got it running the first day I got him home . She’s been sitting for awhile so will need some luv. Had one terrible repaint and a terrible box liner install but its straight and pretty much unmolested.

Thanks! It’s a good solid start unlike some of the earlier gens I’ve done! Getting tired of the rust/rot repair nice to just do some mechanical work and enjoy them. Rebuilt the quadrajet this week and going to grab a donor seat as this original is so far gone. Need to drop both fuel tanks and clean them. Change all fluids and go through rest of truck . Get some period correct wheels are on the list as well
