This project all started because i was bored and wanted something todo. The truck i started this project with was stolen (it was found, and just my luck it had been completely stripped). So the only option i had now was to get another one. So that brings me to the truck you see today.

Out with the old, in with the .......Well old. Remember this is supposed to be a fun project. Buying a new motor isn't fun. So i went the junkyard special way for now.

This is where i stopped for the winter. I'll be starting back up soon to finish the suspension, all new steering, and front breaks.
A few other things that have been done. ... changed glovebox door ... new outer door belt weatherstrips ... a couple new window and lock switches ... wired in a headphone jax for mp3 player ... tune-up (plugs, wires, dis.cap, rotor, air filter, fuel filter, pvc valve, coolant temp senser) ... flushed the cooling system ... new taillight boards and bulbs ... new door pins, bushings, and strikers ... new driver side door handle ... new e-break cable ... new drive belt ... new rear break pads and springs |
