heres some pics inside the bucket (a pia to take apart) the tube from cabinet goes 2in from bottom then there 2 "disc" drilled with 1/2in holes to stop dust works pretty good and it was free!

the flex tube goes to a shop vac. with the shop vac straight to cabinet it pluged up the filter in 10 min or so. no water tryed it and it just got sucked out of bucket in to vac as soon as i started it up. the first disc is 4in of bottom 2nd disc is 8in one is made of plexi and 1 is made of plywood just stuff i had laying around

heres a few pics of my homemade blast cabinet. I just recently changed the arms holes to have more elbow room. Im going to build me one of those bucket vac systems, my filter on my shop vac fills up fast also.http://67-72chevytrucks.com/gallery/...MAG0131_2_.jpghttp://67-72chevytrucks.com/gallery/...MAG0593_2_.jpghttp://67-72chevytrucks.com/gallery/...MAG0594_2_.jpg

Get extra gloves, especially the one opposite of your dominant hand. You will find yourself holding parts in that glove and blasting holes in it. When I worked for a clemco distributor and we sold 3 lefts for every 1 right. Also see if you can get some window liner for the window. It protects the window. Similar to a helmet tear off. As your blasting the window will etch, plastic window liner is much cheaper than getting new glass cut.

GROUND THAT CABINET !!! I have a ground wire on mine, and yesterday forgot to hook it onto a ground (in a daggone hurry)... leaned against the cabinet and got blasted in the doink. That thing builds a hella charge.

Nice cabinet Chevelle! I am building one very similar - what did you use for the new arm holes and how did you attach them to the cabinet?

3 inch piece of 1/4 inch pipe 5 or 6 inch around in diameter.
