1972 motor mount question

Does anyone know if the engine side clam shell mounts from a square body truck will work with the big block mounts on a 72?

Yup, did it on my own truck. Leave the mounts loose until the engine is seated down, then tighten everything up--frame and mount ('cept the clam to block)
