Are these the right height

I ordered these 4 inch drop springs and although correct part number on them they just look too short for a 4 inch drop. They are 9 inches high. Can anyone tell me for sure if they are the right ones for a 4 inch drop. It amy be a whie before I install them so want to make sure they are correct while I can still return them if not correct.

Sorry for the long delay in response to this. Those are the exact springs I put in the back of my 67 for a 4" drop. Photo below. Mine will obviously drop a bit more when I put the bed on it but this appears about right with the 2.5" drop in front that hasn't totally settled out just yet.

I also purchased some shortened bump stops for the rear and there is just a hair over 3.5" of clearance between the stop and the axle housing.

Thanks for the info. For your front 2 1/2 inch drop are you just using the dropped spindle with stock spring or a 2 1/2 inch dropped spring. Also what size tire you running front and back.

Standard height spring in front with 2-1/2" drop spindle. I wanted to keep the steering geometry as close to stock as possible. I've not driven my truck yet and I expect the front to settle a bit more since the springs are new as well.

I am runnin 255/70-15 all the way around.

Thanks again. 255/70 15's are 29.04 inches high. I plan to run 255/60 17 which are the same height as your 255/70 15's and use a 2 1/2 inch spindle like you are and I like what tire to fender clearance you have up front. I'd like to see your truck when you get the box installed.

Will do, mine is going step side. I got the wood for the bed a week or so ago an am going to pull the trigger on the whole box from Mar K soon. I'm anticipating the rear to drop another 1/2" or so when the bed is on and the front to settle about the same when the suspension articulates a bit.
