that seat looks really good in person! was wondering if or when you would show some pics of it on here! what two colors did you use to paint the headers on the blue truck, taking mine off today to paint later these week, they looked really good as well!

Clem,

That looks awesome. So I after seeing many of the two tone paint schemes with White tops I have discovered I masked mine lines wrong around the windshield. Oh well guess mine will be unique. Most people won't know the difference I guess.

I have notice that too

happy easter to you too. we went to oklahoma to hang with my sister and brother in law... they're ford people but we tolerate them anyway.

thanks man...
Cotton brought over a maroon stepside bed that was very close to that color and after painting the cab, a chip from the old bed was pretty much a spot on match.

Love that color and the original restoration. It seems like everybody is slamming them with bags and ditching all original stuff. Nice to see one like this.

didn't really know how that line met the windshield so i just curved it up towards it, hope it looks ok once the windshield is in. and thanks man, i too like the simpler truck builds.

Seriously, that seat has me drooling right now.
I was already to purchase set of Cadillac SRX buckets, but that looks so retro & clean. I currently have no seat, but I have the tracks....We need to figure this out!

this last weekend we got to take a break from the routine and go to my all-time favorite car show... the lonestar roundup in austin. and i remembered my camera.

the best part of the roundup besides thousands of traditional hotrods and killer rockabilly music and great chow, is the people. all walks of life and no bad attitudes.

had a great time and met lots of forum members. really cool trucks... also a few pics of cool cars to follow...

Clem I think you stopped at my truck and talked to some friends, I was out wandering around. They said somebody from Arkansas came by, if that was you I'm sorry I missed meeting you.

Thanks Clem.

that guy was super nice. he's standing next to his creation, see the side view above. the twin turbo setup, bagged to the max ride, dually rear, and tons of character, very cool. he had a fully bagged shasta trailer in tow and the bags on it were fed from the truck... too cool.

Is the insert material on that seat OEM type material or something from the aftermarket?

if you're talking about cotton's seat...
its vintage, period tweed but not oem for our trucks.
