California Members:Need info on moving my modified 70 Jimmy

I'm probably moving to California this year and I need to find out if it's worth it to take my 70 Jimmy with me. Here's the deal:

It used to be a 4x4 (converted to 2wd).
Notched xmember and associated frame mods.
Pre emmissions 454 (not stock, mild cam, headers, hei).

I need to know for sure what issues I will have registering and emmissions testing my truck. Websites with the laws would be helpful.

Thanks

as of this year any truck/car 74 and below doesn't need smog, even if they do bring in smog, it can only be a visual. Not alot of truck or car of that era came with smog pumps, just the normal PCV valve.
Main thing I would be worried about are the cops in the town your movin too. The cops around here have never ask anything about the drop or the exhaust, come to think about I've never been pulled over in the old girl when she was drivable.

I'll be right around your area in Sacramento County. I haven't decided where exactly. I'm getting my real estate license in June and will be going down there shortly after. I really want to take my truck. I hope I can get it drivable by then. No pics right now. It's got no front clip so she's not much to look at. I've got the motor in place but still have to fab another mount. Still need to finish the front suspension (when I sell my 56 and can afford the parts). The interior is stripped and I have to lower the rear. Exhaust has to be done too. That and a ton of other little things will keep me occupied for a while. Thanks for the info guys.
