Chassis prep

I had the frame blasted the 1st time I did a resto on my 72 K20.I intend to spray it down with a HD degreaser, than hit the chassis with a fuel oil fired pressure cleaner. I am going to go straight to paint afterwards.
Anyone do their chassis paint and prep this way ?

Re: Chassis prep

I would Prep any rust spots with phosphoric acid, neutralize... brush or spray epoxy primer with your choice of top coat. Many options available.

I used the hot water pressure washer I still wire brushed and sanded the rusty areas . I wiped down the frame with a sprayer and isopropyl alcohol prior to paint
