Wanted: 71-72 Blazer on the west coast

Looking for a clean and stock as possible 4x4 K5 on the west coast. Automatic, no 4 speeds as I have a bad left hip. Need a boat hauler for next summer so I need to get started looking now. A rust free one if possible. Im willing to go as far north as Washington and as far south as L.A.
A/C would be good along with a double wall top. Tilt would be a plus.. Have Cash... Will travel:bowtie: :bowtie: :bowtie: :bowtie: :bowtie: :bowtie: :D
Email me. Pictures a must if farther than 100 miles.
I would rather no lift but a 2 inch will be ok if the rest is good and fairly rust free..
THANKS GUYS

I know exactly where the yellow one is. I drove by it the other day. It isn't far from my office.

There are a lot of Blazers for sale on the west coast. Search on http://www.collectorcartraderonline.com/. You'll see both of the rigs that 1970blazin posted there.

This one is listed in the little nickel - no pics though - 1971 K-5 BLAZER Custom, factory tack, air, posi, runs and drives, needs restored, $2,200 OBO. Call 360-772-2680 Vancouver, WA

Another one in the little Nickel - don't know where it is though, I think 702 is Nevada - 72 BLAZER, Body straight, some rust. Transmission needs TLC, 454 engine. TH400 transmission, 35-1050/15" rims & tires, custom convertible soft top by K-Line, also has hard top. Custom roll bar. $4000 OBO. Call Doug at 702-328-0876 or 702-896-1724

Good luck finding a unmolested Blazer.

I have yet to find one in the past 10 years that wasn't lifted, beat, rotted or just generally screwed up.

They are almost as bad as finding an original mid-70's and older Jeep CJ-5 or CJ-7 that retains most of its original parts.

;)

They are a hard find, but they are out there. I looked for almost a year before I bought my blazer. Quite a few I looked at just were beat, lifted, and generally not taken care of. I found mine by searching the internet. The guy just had a web page that I happened upon. I never found it again! Luckily I had written down the number!! I don't think he was trying to hard to sell it.:) Keep looking and you WILL find what you are looking for- especially if you are willing to either work with what you get, or pay some $$ for a nice one.

I think I may have found one in Calif. The guy restored the complete rig and then blew the motor. Been sitting in his garage for 3 years now. Im going to check it out in 2 weeks when Im in the area.
