Biggest tires on rear

I'm looking to buy rubber in bulk. What is the largest rubber to have been confirmed on the back of a suburban? I'm specifically looking to go with 33 12.50 15. As in these stepside pics.

Re: Biggest tires on rear
With stock sheet metal, 295mm tread width is the limit, IF you get the right wheel offset.

If you want to tub the fenders 4" you can fit 31x16.50R15s in there...

Re: Biggest tires on rear
That is a ton of tire. Probably no tubs for me. Im trying to quit welding on this thing.
I would be happy to run a 10.50 but when you get to 33's they are all mud tires. In a 12.50 there are many tires that are regular tread. I have 275 60 bfg ta's on it now and they were fine but really are a car tire. I want a truck tire and big little look. With 235 75 being little. |

33 12.50 is not even in the ball park for the factory wheel well.
My 275 60's measure 28" diameter and 9" of tread with a fair sidewall buldge. Probably 10.5 at widest. I would have to trim the lip to even do a 30 diameter or a 10.5 at the tread. |
