what yrs door are interchangeable on the square body also will door from the 2/3/5 tons work on the pickups?? thanks in advance:chevy:

73 - 75
76 - 87 as far as I know.
Have 84 doors on a 73

And 2 ton up should fit and follow squarebody years of door panels.

All 73-87 doors are interchangeable, the only things that aren’t are the door panels as the inner skins changed in 77’. But the outer shells are exactly the same. I do know 81’ and up doors have some internal parts that are also different. But sheet metal is the same

I think the glass is thicker in the earlier years and got thinner in the 80's.

and dont forget doors up til 91 are squarebody also ,,on duallys ,suburbans, and blazers

All squarebody doors are interchangeable, technically. '73-76 are manual only with smaller door panels. '77-up have larger door panels and provisions for both manual and power windows and locks. The glass was thinner in the '81-up trucks but all the gaskets/seals are the same, it was only a millimeter or two difference

Oh and 73-75 have a better door handle.
The back is smooth where you pull it to open
